The Aloe vera plant embodies the quality of Heal. Strengthening your sense of self will help to protect you against feeling hurt from the actions of others. One way to strengthen your sense of self is to nurture your relationships with your most supportive friends who see your best self. Take a few moments to think about who these people are in your life.
Try to think of at least 1 person, and maybe up to 3 people. Think about what each of these individuals helps you to feel. Maybe there is someone who makes you laugh or see things in a light way. Maybe someone inspires you to act with more courage and confidence. Maybe someone stimulates you to think about things differently.
Once you have distilled at least one way in which this person or people help you to feel better, take out your phone and send them a text of thanks. Let them know that you were just thinking about them and let them know why you appreciate them.
