Chasing the Black Horse: Keys for Personal and Social Transformation

Join Linda Kohanov for an afternoon seminar for an exploration of civilization, power, and the hidden knowledge lost when humanity turned toward hierarchy and control thousands of years ago. Linda is an author, speaker, riding instructor and horse trainer who has become an internationally recognized innovator in the field of Equine Experiential Learning and a respected writer of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy. With Linda’s guidance you’ll move through experiential activities and practical tools together: from the roots of organized violence and authoritarian systems, to real alternatives for building something different; from why our current structures undermine physical and psychological health, to how equine-facilitated learning restores it; from the ancient fears beneath today's conflicts, to new ways of working with people who are frightened, angry, or resistant to change. Open to all! No experience with horses required — just curiosity. Come be part of the conversation as we ask: what did we lose, and how do we find our way back? Beyond the Integrative Certificate: What Comes Next?

What can eight months of integrative health education change? Zoom with us and meet members of the 2026 Integrative Health & Lifestyle Certificate cohort, including a nurse practitioner, registered nurse, occupational therapist and recreational therapist, and hear firsthand how the program has shaped their work, careers and approach to their own wellbeing. These AWCIM alumni share their experience in the program and take you inside their final projects, where they applied what they learned to real needs in their own healthcare settings. You’ll hear what they created, what they’re taking back to their work and what they wish they had known before starting the program. You will also have the opportunity to ask candid questions about the program experience, balancing coursework with a career, tuition, scholarships and more. Application fees will be waived for attendees. Register here: https://arizona.zoom.us/.../register/Zb5x_XLCSSeR_pS9mzuSkQ see more
