Integrative Medicine Distinction Track

In the Integrative Medicine Distinction Track (IMDT), University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson students will receive an introduction to the vast set of integrative medicine modalities available for use with their patients, while operating within the conventional medical system.

The track consists of integrative approaches to various health conditions, participation in didactic special topic sessions, interactive online modules, the development of self-care plans, and participation in patient conferences to develop treatment plans. We partner with the College of Medicine's Integrative Medicine Club to meet student interests and provide a rich experience for all.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and are reviewed monthly. It is best if interested students declare their intent to be in the Distinction Track before the end of their first year of medical school, to provide ample time to complete each requirement. Students who apply later, however, will still be considered.
